Veterans’ Education and Training Benefit

The new Veterans’ Education and Training Benefit to provide up to $80,000 to Veterans in support of post-secondary education. This new benefit will provide Veterans with funding for college, university or a technical education. Veterans with six years of service may be eligible for up to $40,000 and Veterans with at least 12 years of service may be eligible for up to $80,000 to cover tuition, course materials, and some incidentals and living expenses. All honourably released Veterans will have up to 10 years following their release date to use the benefit.

Other Retraining Benefits

Some students may qualify for funding through CAF-VRP as well as other similar programs. This funding goes directly to your studies and it allows you to embark on your next career in Canada’s IT sector.

Academic Scholarships

Some of our corporate sponsors also provide for Academic scholarships for those individuals who do not qualify for funding through the traditional retraining and reskilling program. Ask your coding for veterans advisor for more details.
